The North Market, located in downtown Columbus, has been a must-go spot in the city for years. But now, the North Market experience can also be found in Dublin, with the new North Market Bridge Park.

North Market Bridge Park opened in early November 2020, located in Bridge Park of Dublin. This new location is designed to model the original North Market but with a modern and more refreshed design, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

The whole Bridge Park area offers lot of options for parking and accessibility. There is a free parking garage located right by the building, as well as street parking options all throughout Bridge Park. With all of these different parking options, there are also multiple different entrances located across the building, allowing visitors to enter from many different starting points.

The exterior design of the building would remind anyone of what the North Market is. When walking past, or driving by, the first thing that catches the eye is the red paint, and a giant statue of the iconic rooster.

The inside of the store also grabs people’s attention. The sleek and modern design shows off how fresh the location is, but the inside would also remind someone of an authentic market and shop feeling.

Once someone starts walking around, the large variety of shops and vendors will start to appear. Meals, drinks, bakery items, and many more can be found to purchase.

“I love the food options. I got Mediterranean food today, but there are so many other options to pick from,” customer Amelia Cameron said.

All of the options found at the North Market are very diverse. Options range from Vietnamese, to Italian, classic barbeque, and many more.

“Some of this food is stuff I have never tried before, and it is very cultural,” customer and Junior Bobby Drexel said. “If you are looking to try new things, I recommend coming here!”

One restaurant, Lan Viet, is a store found in both North Markets. It offers traditional Vietnamese dining options, ranging from pho, a hot noodle soup, to banh mi, a type of crispy sandwich, according to The North Market.

“The pho was very flavorful. I tried the shrimp, but they offered much more. Overall, it was really good,” Drexel said.

Taking a trip to the opposite side of the building, one will find Pasta Ditoni’s, an authentic Italian bakery and pasta shop.

“We are the only ones here that sell fresh pasta and sauces,” Pasta Ditoni’s worker Rachel D. said. “As well as that, all of our desserts are imported from Italy.”

With all of these options for food and drinks, there is also a prideful and committed set of employees there to prepare the food and make the North Market what it is.

“Service was great. My food came out fast, but it was also super yummy,” Cameron said.

North Market Bridge Park offers 19 vendors when all are open, and all of them had at least one person staffing the store at all times.

“It’s really cool that a community was developed here. We have a lot of regulars here, and some of us are friends at each other’s restaurants,” Lan Viet worker Lance said. “Everyone is really nice, which is what I like about it.”

Another essential part to any type of market would be the seating options offered. At the North Market Bridge Park, there are multiple different seating options, ranging from picnic tables to high-tops, and even an actual bar, located on the far side of the building.

With no shortage of options, and a welcoming environment, North Market Bridge Park is a must-visit place when traveling to the Bridge Park, or when a quick bite to eat sounds good.
