The bakery Paris Baguette recently opened in Polaris on Dec. 14. Paris Baguette is a French-inspired bakery with South Korean origins. Many people are frequently visiting Paris Baguette, whether to enjoy their delicious pastries or to just take in the cozy, welcoming environment of the bakery.

Paris Baguette has a wide variety of options on their menu, from salads and wraps to sweets and cakes. This makes it a huge attraction because it has options for everyone. The bakery also offers seasonal specialties like the Peppermint Mochi donut, which is only available during the holidays, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Paris Baguette’s menu consists of organized categories starting with cakes and cake slices, donuts and then moving to different types of pastries like croissants and Danishes, ending with the different beverages they serve based on temperature.

The bakery showcases a Parisian and Korean touch on food and culture that appeals to the masses greatly. In the front of the store, display cases are full of freshly baked cakes and confections, like the rainbow of macaroons. They are decorated so beautifully and colorful that it’s hard not to look.

Walking into the bakery, friendly workers greet people with a smile and there’s an overwhelming sense of hospitality as well as the mouth-watering scent of freshly baked goods. Paris Baguette’s interior is comfy and chic all together with snug seating and elegant decor that should contradict each other but blend together perfectly.

To the right of the bakery, there are breads, croissants and sandwiches that are mostly bagged. Near that, there is a Market Fresh section full of boxed salads, sandwiches and all the different beverages people can purchase.

When I visited Paris Baguette, I enjoyed a chocolate croissant with an iced chai latte. The chocolate croissant was the perfect amount of sweet and doughy, and the chocolate added to the sweetness of the croissant. The chai latte was very creamy and rich with a hint of sweetness. I also brought home a baguette for my family to taste, and it was perfectly crunchy and soft at the same time.

The small chai latte was $5.29, the baguette was $4.49, and the croissant was $4.39. These things were all very cheap considering how big they were and how good the quality was for each.

The seating is towards the left but is big enough to take up most of the middle space, with striped black and white chairs and white tabletops. For how busy it has been, there is a good amount of seating but there could be more just for reinforcements.

Whether someone ends up going for a sweet treat or just for a quick, healthy salad, Paris Baguette has something for everyone. Paris Baguette deserves a 5/5 rating because of the amiable experience and the variety on the menu. To learn more, follow their Instagram @parisbaguette_usa and their Facebook Paris Baguette.
