One thing that is universal across all sports, is getting excited and ready before a game. One of  if not the most important way to get ready for a game, is having a great warmup playlist to get athletes pumped up. Having a good warmup playlist can make or break a gameday. Good music can be crucial to being ready and in the mood to play a game.

  1. “Endgame” by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran, Future

This is the best warmup song and the song I listen to before every soccer game. “Endgame” by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran and Future is a total banger. This song has everything needed for a perfect warmup song: a fast beat, great lyrics and even a rap. There are so many different aspects to this song.

Lyrically, it is so fun and catchy and it’s easily one of my favorite songs to sing along to. The way Ed Sheeran sings this verse with his accent is so good, and the way he sings it tickles my brain. Future’s verse is also so good. It’s different from a lot of Taylor’s other songs, but he adds so much to this song. This is just a fun song that I could listen to 10 times in a row and never get tired of it.

  1.  “Best Song Ever” by One Direction

This song is a classic. It has been around for years and never gets old. This song has upbeat lyrics and a fast pace. So many people know this song for a good reason.

This song is super well written and can literally get stuck in my head for days at a time. My favorite lyrics are when they yell “Ow” after their lines. The instrumentals of this song are also amazing, and I love the guitar in the background.

My favorite part of this song is Niall’s part, but they all sound so amazing and their voices fit this song perfectly. The way Harry sings “yeah”  is one of the best parts to sing along with. This isn’t really related to warmup playlists, but the music video for this song is one of their best.

  1. “Beauty and a Beat” by Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minaj

Normally, I don’t like Justin Bieber, but this is one of the few songs with him in it I can get behind. Their different voices work so well together and fit this song so perfectly. This song has lots of good lyrics, but my favorites are when Nicki Minaj sings “ World tour it’s mine 10 little letters on a big sign.”  These lyrics are really good for Nicki’s voice and she has really showed off in this song.

This song is so energetic and catchy. The song also has lots of beat drops, which add a lot of emotion to the song.

  1. “Run This Town” by Jay-Z ft. Rihanna and Kanye West

This song is another great one. I absolutely hate Kanye for what he did to Taylor Swift, but this song is still super fun. It pains me to admit this, but  he added a lot to the song, it would have been a lot more empty without him.

Rihanna’s voice fits this song perfectly, and she was another perfect choice to be featured on this song. All three of their voices blend so well together and just fit the vibe of this song so well.

The lyrics of this song are also good. My favorite part is the intro, specifically when Rihanna sings “ I’m addicted to the thrill, it’s a dangerous love affair”. Something about her voice and the way she sings it is just so addicting. This song flows really well and has so much energy.

  1. “I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift

This is definitely one of Taylor’s best hype songs. Her vocals in this song are amazing, and this song is so timeless; it only gets better as time goes on. This song has lyrics that genuinely make me feel like I’m in the exact same situation she was. Taylor is so talented at using her lyrics to really tell a story and get the listener to really feel like they’re in her situation, and this song shows off that skill.

The way Taylor  sings “ Trouble “ in the post choruses is so satisfying and whether it’s Taylor’s version or the original version, this song is perfect for any warm up playlist. The lyrics “And I heard you moved on from whispers in the street, a new notch in your belt, is all I’ll ever be,” are the best part of this song. There’s something so addicting about the way she sings it, and it’s just so catchy and has a really nice flow.
