The season of advent is the preparation for Christmas, which is the day Jesus’s birth is celebrated, in the Christian faith. This starts the first Sunday after Thanksgiving and is the four Sundays leading up to Christmas. The Sundays reflect hope, peace, joy and love, according to Bible Project.
