The Pioneers crushed Central Crossing in the District Semi-Final, 55-18. As the one seed in the tournament, they got the benefit of hosting the game in their home gym. This home court advantage is serious as the stands were packed with many supporters for the Pioneers.Closing out halftime, the Pioneers huddled up. Coach Olanrewaju is known for his encouraging speeches to get the boys hyped to play.Junior Garrett Peterson rebounds for Junior Xavier Aguila while re-warming up at halftime. The Orange Boys basketball program is built tightly off team bonds and they push one another to get better.As the final seconds tick by in the game, sophomore Brain Ceol holds the ball towards half court. The spectators and students applauded the Pioneers for a great game and for heading to another district final.The Pioneer bench high fives sophomore Grant Miller as he heads off of the court. This team is very supportive of each other’s success and they continuously have the best celebrations for each basket.
