Cameron Graham, better known as CGraham, is the junior who has helped change the high school for the better. Whether it’s his endless school spirit that inspires other students or his positive attitude that makes everyone feel welcome.
One of the most important things to note about CGraham is his confidence. He approaches everything with a mindset that not only empowers him but also motivates those around him.
“I do my best to go to most of the school’s events. Fundraisers, games, pep rallies and anytime I can show my school spirit is where I have the most fun,” Cameron Graham said.
Although he’s only a junior, CGraham has made an impact already. Some of his closest friends are seniors who lead the school’s student section at games, The Pit. Due to these connections, he is an honorary student section leader, helping the school achieve some of the best school spirit in years.
“I love when CGraham is at games. He is always making noise, being encouraging and he shows up for the athletes. He brings up the energy and increases student participation. Even though I’m not a student at Orange, I love coming to events with CGraham because he never fails to make them fun for everyone,” Westerville Central senior and one of CGraham’s closest friends Jake Blaz said.
Beyond his confidence, CGraham is a natural leader. His ability to connect with people has made an impact on the school’s community. From organizing and helping with pep rallies, to making important announcements at lunch, CGraham knows how to make everyone feel like they are in the loop.
“My high school experience so far has been great. I spend a lot of my time joining clubs and being active in school events. It helps create relationships with students and teachers,” Graham said. But, his involvement goes beyond school spirit and leadership; it’s about forming connections with people and adding to the atmosphere of the school in a way that’s very genuine.
“I like to do my best to remind people to always be fun and not to take things too seriously,” Graham said. “I’m a confident person because I don’t mind what others think of me.”
CGraham’s bubbly personality has made him a role model not just for his peers but for everyone who interacts with him.
“I’ve just recently become closer with CGraham, but man do I love him. His energy is contagious, and he is always ready to have a good time,” Blaz said.
Additionally, CGraham already has his plans for after high school figured out. While he is the life of the party, he can still hunker down and put effort towards his future.
“One of my biggest future goals and plans for after high school is to move to Buffalo, New York. While I’m there, I want to work for my aunt’s business. After that, I’m hoping to take a gap year and then attend college majoring in business,” Graham said.
In years to come, CGraham’s legacy at the high school will be one of kindness and excitement. He is a positive leader to those around him and leaves an impression on everyone he meets.
