Venom fans everywhere are watching “Venom 3: The Last Dance.” After the first movie came out in 2018 and the second one was released in 2021, the fanbase has been anticipating the newest movie in the trilogy which just came out. Many people knew that this was going to be the conclusion of the “Venom” but none knew how sad it would be until it really set in at the end of the movie.

Eddie Brock and his symbiotic relationship with Venom has been tough for Brock to accept because while Venom gives him superhuman strength, it is a struggle for him to share his body now with something no one else can see unless Venom comes out in full form.

The newest movie starts off with Brock and Venom drunk in a bar in Mexico, hiding out because the entire world claimed Brock as their No.1 suspect for the murder of Patrick Mulligan, who was actually killed by Carnage, from the past movies.

In order to clear his name, Brock and Venom set out to New York City but known to neither of them, they are being tracked by a creature called a Xenophage and a military soldier Rex Strickland. Brock and Venom are attacked by the Xenophage who can only track them when Venom is in full form.

Venom explains to Brock that Xenophages were unleashed into the universe by Knull, the creator of the symbiotes, to retrieve a Codex.  A Codex is forged when a symbiote resurrects its host back to the living. This can free Knull from the prison the symbiotes trapped him in.

The voice effects and acting during this scene were amazing because the character Knull has such a deep voice and the actor gave me chills whenever they would crossover to scenes with Knull.

Since Venom has already brought Eddie back to life, he carries a Codex. Brock meets Martin Moon and his family while trying to find a way to New York without triggering the Xenophage and they offer him a ride to Las Vegas.

After getting attacked again in Las Vegas, Strickland separates them and takes them to Area 51, where Dr. Sadie Christmas frees Venom and he rebonds with Brock.

The audience was quite scared after they got attacked by both things again because that was the second time and many thought they would escape again.

Venom then frees the other symbiotes contained there and they all bond with many of the workers to fight off the Xenophages, who had multiplied by Knull sending more to Earth.

During this time, the directors made very cool special effects because all the symbiotes gave off a slithering effect but when they bonded with the workers there, it was like they transformed into the human’s form while still looking snake-like.

Venom understands that in order to destroy the Codex and save the world, he has to sacrifice himself. After saying goodbye to Brock, he merges with the Xenophages and Strickland kills them in acid tanks. Brock remains unconscious at the scene, and later wakes up in a hospital, reminiscing about his friend who was a hero.

I thought this movie was a 5/5 rating because the plot kept me on my toes the entire time and the acting was very good. I didn’t expect the ending and I was very shocked seeing that Venom would sacrifice himself because he is portrayed as a funny, cocky character that only listens to himself.
